I’m Chris Taff—author, musician, and believer in the power of God to redeem every part of our story. For years I’ve written and sung about the same thing from different angles: the gap between who we pretend to be and who we really are, and the freedom that comes when we stop hiding.
My books trace that journey. The Denial Within is a memoir about facing the wounds we bury and finding Christ in the middle of them. The Maturity Gap looks at why growing up takes longer than we think, and how God matures us through it all. The Gut Reset explores how God designed our bodies to heal. And The Cross Under the Hammer tells the story of Christians who kept their faith under communist rule—a reminder that the same God who sustained His people then will strengthen us now.
Music has always been part of how I process and share that story too, whether I’m fronting the 222 Band on classic rock stages or writing worship songs like “Starting With Me” that come from the same honest place as my books.
I write and sing because I believe Jesus changes everything. If you’re walking through something you haven’t told anyone about yet, I hope something here helps you find your way back to hope. I’d love to hear from you—reach out anytime for prayer, ministry invitations, media requests, or just an honest conversation about faith.
